CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 500 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Hall, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose
Absent: Lewis (arrived at 515 p.m.)
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 300 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957.6. To consider holding a closed
session to discuss employer-employee relations, salaries, salary schedules
and compensation in the form of fringe benefits of its unrepresented
employees, including CPMA, with designated staff as labor negotiators (Jim
Elliott, Administrative Services Director; Lisa Hildabrand, Assistant City
Manager; Julie Clark, Human Resources Director; and Debbie Porter, Senior
Management Analyst). If circumstances necessitate the absence of a
specified designated representative, an agent or designee may participate in
place of the absent representative so long as the name of the agent or
designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
The Council reconvened at 550 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that the Council heard the information regarding management
compensation and directed staff to prepare an agenda bill for final action at a regular
Council Meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 25, 2005 was adjourned at 553 p.m.
