MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: March 14, 2006
TIME OF MEETING: 5:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard
Absent: Sigafoose
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(0. To consider holding a closed
session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c), to discuss amending
the Settlement Agreement between the City of Carlsbad and City of Vista, Case
No. GIC800037.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9fc). To consider holding a closed
session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c), to discuss existing
facts and circumstances regarding possible litigation against the Children's
Discovery Museum of North County.
The Council reconvened at 5:56 p.m. with four members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that the Council heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of March 14, 2006 was adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
