MEETING OF : CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: October 3, 2006
TIME OF MEETING: 4:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL: was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard and Sigafoose.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
CITIZENS OF THE YEAR:
On behalf of the City Council, Mayor Lewis announced that Ursula Monaco-Sweeney
and Arthur Wood had been selected as the 2005 City of Carlsbad Citizens of the Year.
Mayor Lewis presented a plaque to Ms. Monaco-Sweeney and Mr. Wood to honor the
occasion.
Mayor Lewis invited everyone to a cake and coffee reception in the City Manager's
Conference Room.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 3, 2006 was adjourned at 4:26 p.m.
