MEETING OF: CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL AND CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT
(Joint Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: June 12, 2007
TIME OF MEETING: 4:30 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/President Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:35 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk/Deputy Secretary, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, and Packard.
Absent: Nygaard.
CLOSED SESSION:
The Council/Board adjourned into Closed Session at 4:35 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 549S6.9fal. To consider holding a closed session
regarding pending litigation as follows:
La Costa de Marbella Homeowners Association v. City of Carlsbad.
Carlsbad Municipal Water District et al.. Case No. GIG 850408: and,
Laurie Lindlev. et al. v. La Costa de Marbella Homeowners Association. City of
Carlsbad. Carlsbad Municipal Water District et al.. Case No. GIG 849880: and,
Robert Whitehead. et al. v. City of Carlsbad. Carlsbad Municipal Water District
et al.. Case No. 860333.
The Council/Board reconvened at 5:03 p.m. with four members present. Mayor/President Lewis
announced that the Council/Board heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of June 12, 2007 was adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
