JOINT MEETING OF: THE CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL AND
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
(Joint Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: August 7, 2007
TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/President Lewis called the Joint Special Meeting to order at 6:46 p.m.
ROLL CALL: was taken by the City Clerk/Secretary, as follows:
Present: Council/Board Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
Absent: None.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On a motion by Mayor Pro Tern/Vice President Kulchin the Council/Board affirmed
the action of the Consent Calendar, Item No. 5 as follows:
AYES: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The Council/Board waived the reading of the text of all Ordinances and Resolutions at this
Meeting.
15.AB #19,127-NOTICES OF COMPLETION.
Council adopted RESOLUTION NO. 2007-212. accepting the construction of the El Camino
Real/Faraday Avenue Intersection Improvements, Faraday Avenue/Orion Street Traffic
Signal, and Faraday Avenue/Priestly Drive Traffic Signal, Project Nos. 36071, 36211, and
63041 as complete, and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion; and,
The Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1302. accepting the construction of the El Camino
Real/Faraday Avenue Intersection Improvements, Faraday Avenue/Orion Street Traffic
Signal, and Faraday Avenue/Priestly Drive Traffic Signal, Project Nos. 36071, 36211, and
63041 as complete, and directing the Secretary to record a Notice of Completion.

By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of August 7, 2007, was adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
