MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: October 9, 2007
TIME OF MEETING: 5:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall and Packard
Absent: Nygaard.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:05 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). To consider holding a closed session to
discuss Complaint No. R9-2007-0099 for Administrative Civil Liability against the City of
Carlsbad for alleged violation of Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements for
Sanitary Sewer Systems, DWQ Order No. R9-2006-0003.
The Council reconvened at 5:53 p.m. with four members present. Mayor Lewis announced that
the Council heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding the items.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 9, 2007 was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
