MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: May 6, 2008
TIME OF MEETING: 3:30 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 3:35 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957. To hold a closed session to consider the
candidates for appointment of City Manager for the City of Carlsbad, with Phil Berghausen
from the Center for Executive Solutions.
The Council reconvened at 5:54 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis announced that the
Council heard the information and would be announcing the name of the new Carlsbad City
Manager on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of May 6, 2008 was adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
