MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Minutes Clerk as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). The City Council hold a closed
session regarding pending litigation to discuss Request for Joinder Amicus Brief
in support of City of Irvine v. Southern California Association of Governments.
The Council reconvened at 5:53 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis
announced that the City Council authorized the City Attorney to file a Joinder in an
Amicus Brief in support of City of Irvine v. Southern California Association of
Governments.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of January 6, 2009 was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
