MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(bU1). The City Council hold a
closed session based on existing facts and circumstances to discuss anticipated
litigation against the City of Carlsbad by Hillside Patio Homeowners Association.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(c). The City Council hold a closed
session based on existing facts and circumstances to decide whether or not to
initiate litigation arising from administration fees for in-lieu property taxes against
the County of San Diego.
The Council reconvened at 5:53 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis announced
that the Council heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding the
item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of March 17, 2009 was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
