AUTHORITY (Joint Special Meeting)

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/Chairman Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk/Deputy Secretary, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). The Carlsbad City Council and Public
Financing Authority Board hold a closed session to discuss pending litigation, City of
Carlsbad v. Prince Reza Shah. Case No. 08-CV-1211 JLS (WMc).
The Council/Board reconvened at 5:46 p.m. with five members present. Mayor/Chairman Lewis
announced that the Council/Board heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney
regarding the Kern.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of May 5, 2009 was adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
