MEETING OF: CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: August 11, 2009
TIME OF MEETING: 4:30: p.m.

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.

CLOSED SESSION:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8. To hold a closed session to instruct its
negotiator (Debbie Fountain, Housing and Redevelopment Director) regarding purchase,
sale, exchange, or lease of real property located at and generally identified as:
Property Owner: Jean L. Baumgartner Trust
Amy Tennyson - Executrix Trust
Location: 3045-3067 State Street
APN: 203-296-06
Negotiators: Tom and Cindi Vigne for Property Owner
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an agent
or designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the name of the
agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(b)(3)(E). To hold a closed session to discuss
threatened litigation by Chris Boyd under the Public Records Act.
The Council reconvened at 5:45 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis announced that the
Council heard the information and instructed staff and the attorney regarding the items.
