CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/Chair Lewis called the Meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy Clerk/Deputy Secretary as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). To hold a closed session to
discuss pending litigation as follows:
City of Carlsbad v. Prince Reza Shah. Case. No. 08-CS-1211 JLS (WMc)
The Council/Board reconvened at 5:40 p.m. with five members present. Mayor/Chair Lewis
announced that the Council/Board heard the information and instructed staff and the City
Attorney regarding the item.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of November 3, 2009 was adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
