CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/President Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:21 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). To hold a closed session to discuss
pending litigation against ISOP/AIG Insurance Company et al. (San Diego Superior
Court Case No. 37-2007-00072351-CU-IC-CTL, Court of Appeals Case No. D053843).
2. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9fa). To hold a closed session to discuss
pending litigation against Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company.
The Council/Board reconvened at 5:40 p.m. with five members present. Mayor/President Lewis
announced that the Council/Board heard the items and directed the City Attorney/General
Counsel and staff on the matters.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of January 12, 2010, was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
