DISTRICT (Joint Special Meeting)
September 14, 2010

City Hall Conference Room 3, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor/President Lewis called the Meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956. 9(a). To hold a closed session to discuss
pending litigation as follows:
City and CMWD v. Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company and Insurance
Company of Pennsylvania, Case No. 37-2007-00072351 -CU-IC-CTL/ Appeals
#0053843.
The Council/Board reconvened at 5:25 p.m. with five members present. Mayor/President Lewis
announced that Council/Board heard the information presented and directed the City
Attorney/General Counsel and staff on the matter.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of September 14, 2010, was adjourned at 5:30p.m.
