CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)

City Hall Conference Room 3,1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lewis called the Meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy Clerk, as follows:
Present: Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:00 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.8. To hold a closed session to instruct its negotiators
(Cynthia Haas, Deputy City Manager and Skip Hammann, Transportation Director) regarding
purchase, sale, exchange or lease of real property located and general identified as:
Property Owners: California State Parks and City of Carlsbad
Location: Right-of-way along Carlsbad Blvd. south of Cannon Rd.
and various state owned parcels/property located south of
Manzano Dr.
Negotiator:Clay Phillips and Brian Ketterer for California State Parks
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an agent or
designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the name of the agent or
designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
The Council reconvened at 5:45 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Lewis announced that
Council received the information presented.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of December 7, 2010 was adjourned at 5:47 p.m.
