MEETING OF : Spring 2011 Citizens' Academy Graduation
(Special Meeting)

PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers
PRESENT:
Mayor Hall, Mayor Pro Tern Kulchin, Council Member Blackburn, Council Member
Douglas and Council Member Packard.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
City Manager Lisa Hildabrand welcomed the students to the Spring Citizens' Academy
Graduation Ceremony.
A City Council Question and Answer Discussion Panel was held and citizens' questions
were answered by Council members.
Council members presented Citizens' Academy Completion Certificates to graduates.
Council members excused themselves from the meeting at 6:35 p.m.
A recess was declared at 6:35 p.m. The Academy reconvened at 6.50 p.m.
Academy attendees participated in a City Council Role Play activity.
Volunteer Liz de Jonge thanked the class for their participation in the Citizens'
Academy.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Special Meeting of May 5, 2011 was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
