MEETING OF: CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 18, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 8:45 a.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: Room 126, Faraday Administration Building,
1635 Faraday Avenue, Carlsbad, California
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hal! called the meeting to order at 8:45 a.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Blackburn, Packard and Wood.
Absent: Council Member Douglas.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 8:47 a.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957. To hold a closed session to consider the candidates
for City Attorney for the City of Carisbad.
RECONVENE:
The Council reconvened at 10:35 a.m. with five members present. Mayor Hall announced that Council
deliberated in ways it felt was in the best interests of the City and its citizens but took no final action. Final
action, when taken, will be reported out at a subsequent meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of December 18, 2012 was adjourned at 10:38 a.m.
