MEETING OF: CARLSBAD CITY COUNCIL (Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: December 21, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 12:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Manager Conference Room, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, California
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hall called the meeting to order at 12:04 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Council Members Hall, Blackburn, Douglas, Packard and Wood.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 12:06 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957. To hold a closed session to consider the candidates for
City Attorney for the City of Carisbad.
RECONVENE:
The Council reconvened at 3:08 p.m. with five members present. Mayor Hall announced that Council
deliberated in ways it felt was in the best interests of the City and its citizens but took no final action. Final
action, when taken, will be reported out at a subsequent meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of December 21, 2012 was adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
