CALL TO ORDER: 5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Present: Hall, Blackburn, Schumacher, Wood, Packard.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS (Government Code Section
54956.8)
PROPERTY: Plaza Camino Real Parking Lot at 2525 El Camino
Real, APN # 156-302-224
AGENCY NEGOTIATOR: Pat Thomas, Public Works Director, and Joe
Garuba, Municipal Property Manager, City of
Carlsbad
NEGOTIATING PARTIES: Stephen Fluhr for Plaza Camino Real c/o Westfield,
LLC
UNDER NEGOTIATION: Regarding purchase, sale, exchange or lease of real
property.
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an
agent or designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the
name ofthe agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed
session.
RECONVENE;
The Council reconvened at 5:15 p.m. with five members present.
Mayor Hall announced that there was no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT;
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of January 13, 2015 was adjourned at 5:17 p.m.
