MEETING OF: Fall 2015 Citizens' Academy Graduation

PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chamber, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California
IN ATTENDANCE:
Halt, Blackburn, Schumacher, Wood, Packard.
PUBUC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: None.
Interim City Manager Kathy Dodson welcomed the students to the tast session and graduation
ceremony ofthe Fall 2015 Citizens' Academy and thanked them for their participation.
A City Council question and answer discussion panel was held and citizens' questions were
answered by council members.
Council members presented Citizens' Academy Comptetion Certificates to graduates.
Council members excused themselves from the meeting at 6:17 p.m.
Community Coordinator Sue trey explained volunteer opportunities within the city.
A recess was declared at 6:20 p.m. The Academy reconvened at 6:29 p.m.
A presentation regarding the Carisbad Unified School District was given by Superintendent
Suzette Lovely and Deputy Superintendent Suzanne O'Connell.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Special Meeting of October 29, 2015 was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
