CLOSED SESSION:
City Attorney Celia Brewer read the Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 5:16 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING PENDING LITIGATION
To authorize a closed session to discuss pending litigation in the following matter of:
City of Carlsbad v. Ledcor Construction, Case No. 37-2016-00019850-CU-CD-CTL, pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(l).
Council Action: No reportable action.
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURE TO LITIGATION
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss significant exposure
to litigation based on existing facts and circumstances regarding receipt of a claim against
the City of Carlsbad, pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(2).

Council Action: No reportable action.
