CALL TO ORDER: 2:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
City Attorney Celia Brewer read the Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 2:30 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INITIATING LITIGATION
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to consider initiation of
litigation of one case pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(4).
Council Action: The City Council authorized the City of Carlsbad to join in a petition for
review of a declaratory ruling of the Federal Communications Commission. Motion carried
unanimously, 4/0.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of June 23, 2020 was adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
