APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Joint Special Meeting held June 23, 2015.
Minutes of the Joint Special Meeting held June 30, 2015.
Motion by Vice Chair Wood,seconded by Commission Member Schumacher, to approve the
minutes as presented. Motion carried unanimously, 5/0.
CONSENT CALENDAR:None.
PUBLIC HEARING:
14. AB #439 —Approval of Resolution No.534 authorizing the chairperson of the Community
Development Commission to execute the Public Housing Agency (PHA)Certifications of
Compliance with the PHA plans and related regulations; and, approving the Annual PHA Plan
for Fiscal Year 2016 and the Administrative Plan for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher
Program for submission to the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Senior Program Manager Bobbi Nunn presented the report and reviewed a PowerPoint
presentation (on file in the office of the City Clerk).
Commission Member Packard asked how many people are on waiting list.And how long?
In response to Commission Member Packard,Manager Nunn explained that Carlsbad's
Housing List is currently closed; therefore,HUD has authorized staff to work on lists from
other agencies.
Chair Hall opened the Public Hearing at 7:55 p.m.Seeing no one wishing to speak, Chair Hall
closed the Public Hearing at 7:55 p.m.

Motion by Vice Chair Wood, seconded by Commission Member Schumacher to take public
input, close the public hearing and adopt Resolution No. 534, authorizing the chairperson of
the Community Development Commission to execute the Public Housing Agency (PHA)
Certifications of Compliance with the PHA plans and related regulations; and, approving the
Annual PHA Plan for Fiscal Year 2016 and the Administrative Plan for the Section 8 Housing
Choice Voucher Program for submission to the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD).Motion carried unanimously, 5/0.
