APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Joint Special Meeting held June 28, 2016.
Motion by Vice Chair K. Blackburn, seconded by Commissioner M. Packard to approve the
minutes as presented. Motion carried 4/1 (C. Schumacher -Abstain)
CONSENT CALENDAR: None.
PUBLIC HEARING:
5. 2017 PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY ANNUAL PLAN -Adoption of Resolution No. 536 authorizing
the chairperson to execute the Public Housing Agency (PHA) Certifications of Compliance with
the PHA Plans and related regulations and approving the Annual PHA Plan for Fiscal Year 2017
for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). {Staff
contact: Bobbi Nunn, Housing & Neighborhood Services)
City Manager's Recommendation: Take public input, close the public hearing and adopt the
resolution.
Senior Program Manager Bobbi Nunn presented the staff report and reviewed a PowerPoint
presentation (on file in the Office of the City Clerk).
In response to an inquiry from Commissioner C. Schumacher, Manager Nunn explained that
the department has received 77% ofthe administration funding allocation.
Chair Hall opened the duly noticed Public Hearing at 9:02 p.m.
Seeing no one wishing to speak Chair Hall closed the duly noticed Public Hearing at 9:02 p.m.
ACTION: Motion by Vice Chair K. Blackburn, seconded by Commissioner M. Schumacher to
adopt Resolution No. 536. Motion carried, 5/0
DEPARTMENTAL AND EXECUTIVE MANAGER REPORT: None.
