PLACE: City Manager's Conference Room
PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Pieti, Julie Almack representing
Georgina Cole, Hunter Cook, Dr. Howard Harmon and
James King.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Pieti at 3:15 p.m.
The following items were discussed:
1. Definition of terms
2. Franchise fee
3. Term of franchise
4. Problems encountered by other agencies
5. Franchise revenue uses.
Recommendation made by Chairman Pieti:
All definitions as stated in the League of California
Cities Model Ordinance for Cable TV be included in the
City of Carlsbad ordinance.
Agreed by general consent.
The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 27th at
g:00 a.m.
Meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
