Request For Proposal
I. General:

individuals for a period of six months (26 weeks) to serve as a
representative of the Foundation to promote the use of the public
access channels. The successful applicant will be expected to provide
about 1,000 hours of effort to the Foundation. This effort should
include, but is not limited to, the following activities:
1. Develop a Community Outreach program to determine
the programming preferences for community originated
programs to acquaint the citizens of Carlsbad with the
programming available; the opportunities for producing
cable programming and the opportunities to fund cable
productions.
Develop a program outline for a minimum of six productions,
identify and assist possible producers and serve as a
facilitator for the productions.
Develop and implement a fund-raising program for the financing
of local programming from general contributions to the
Foundation or by designated grants by local corporate or
service club donors.

111. General Qualifications: The applicant should have a background of
public relations, marketing, fund raising and television production. This
background requirement can be met by formal education or practical
experience in the areas outlined above.
