NEW BUSINESS
1. Grant Applications for Consideration
a. IICARLSBAD TALENT NIGHT" - Peter Tracy
Mr. Tracy was present to answer questions regarding this grant.
After a lengthy discussion, Ms. Nygaardmotioned approval ofthe
grant minus the Producerls salary. The motion was seconded and
approved in the amount of $950.00 with 2 abstentions.
2. TV Pursuit Fund Raiser
TV Pursuits will be held on May 25, 1989. The location has yet
to be determined. Various locations suggested: Council
Chambers, Senior Center and Cablevision.
Various team suggestions: Teachers & Administration; Police &
Fire; Engineering & Planning; Football & Football; School Boards; Downtown Merchants & Mall Merchants, Water Board & City
Council: Developers & Realtors; Staff & City Council; Print &
Radio; Print t Print; Boys & Girls Club & Girls Club; Senior
Center t American Assoc. of Retirement; League of Women Voters; Democrats & Republicans; Rotary t Chamber of Commerce.
Talent Hosts: Dave Bradstreet, Cheryl Bradstreet
Discussions will continue during the February 2, 1989 meeting.

The date of the next meeting will be Thursday, February 2, 1989 at Cablevision Offices on El Camino Real at 4:30 PM.
