Chairman Bizieff called the Regular Meeting to order at 330 p.m.

Regular Meeting of December 11, 1995, as submitted.

1. PROPOSED PLAQUE FOR HOSP GROVE
Chairman Bizieff stated that the Parks 8 Recreation Commission has approved the wording for the plaque
and it (has been/will be) approved by the City Council on
2. PROPOSED PLAQUE FOR CARRILLO RANCH PARK FROM E CLAMPUS VITUS
Don Rideout, Senior Management Analyst, presented a rendering of the plaque which E Clampus Vitus
would like to erect at the Carrillo Ranch Park. The Commission discussed the wording and the need to
make sure it is historically correct. They suggested that Joan Kindle review the wording to ensure accuracy.

She has been copied on the letter from E Clampus Vitus to Keith Beverly, Parks and Recreation
Department. He will approve the language and it will then submit it to Sandy Elder at the State Historic
Preservation Office.
ACTION: Motion by Commissioner Jones, and duly seconded, to accept the wording for the
plaque for Carrillo Ranch Park from E Clampus Vitus, contingent upon Park and
Recreation staff approval.

3. HISTORIC PRESERVATION WEEK
Chairman Bizieff reported that plans are underway by Commissioner Schwei for Historic Preservation Week
which is
Schwei and further details will be presented at the April meeting.
