The Executive Director, Jack Henthorn, qave a staff report on the ratter, indicating the h%Xl rquirerrents for a 3 year audit. He also explained the procedures folhd in
sending out the proposals, and staff recormmdation to
accept the proposal of George Peterson & Ccanpany.
In response to Cormission questions, Jim Elliott, the City's
Finance Director, stated that the firm of George Peterson
& Coqany had zssisted with the establishment of the &rent
systems, and was fully aware of the requirerrrents of the
I-XD audit prog?3n. He stated that the fh was also aware of the City' s need relating to those audits. He expressed concern that while the finn with the la37 bid r&y be able to provide an audit, their proposal did not reflect adequate
time to accomplish the detailed audit required by HUD, and to met the needs of the City.
The Cdssion adopted the follmv* ?esolution:
