The Meeting was convened at 8:50 p.m.
The following Corranissioners were present:

Absent: None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: I Minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 17, 1983,
were approved as presented.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
3, AB 018 - Rp 83-9 - MORALES (JOE'S TRANSMISSION)
Chris Salomne, Comunity Redevelopment Manager, gave the staff report, using two wall maps. One map showed
the site plan and one showed elevations.
In answer to query, Mr. Salomne stated the driveway
would be gated and that would be all that could be seen
from the front entrance.
Comissioner Casler opened the public hearing at 8:57
p.m. and issued the invitation to speak. Since no one
wished to speak on this matter, the public hearing was
closed.
Commissioner Chick expressed concern abut locating this
type of business in that area, and he suggested an
industrial-type business would be mre compatible with
the surrounding business.
Commissioner Casler expressed the opinion that the
business would be effectively screened and would not be
incompatible with the area.

PLAN.
Chris Salomne, Comnity Redevelopment Manager, gave
the staff report as contained in the Agenda Bill, using
a wall map showing the Redevelopment Area and an overlay
showing the three areas affected.
