Meeting of: HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

The Meeting was convened at 6:51 p.m.
The following Commissioners were present:
Present: Commissioners Casler, Lewis, Kulchin and Pettine.
Absent: Commissioner Chick.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Meeting held July 15, 1986, were approved
as presented.
PUBLIC HEARING:
1. AB #70 - RP 86-9 WILLIS.
Chris Salomone, Community Redevelopment Manager, gave the
staff report as contained in the Agenda Bill, using a
transparency to show the site and wall charts showing the
existing units, an artist's drawing of the proposed project
and materials to be used in the construction.
Commissioner Casler opened the public hearing at 6:55 p.m.,
and issued the invitation to speak. Since no one wished to
speak on this matter, the public hearing was closed.
Housing and Redevelopment Commission adopted the following
Resolution:
RESOLUTION NO. 076, APPROVING A MAJOR REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT
TO CONSTRUCT TWO SECOND STORY APARTMENTS OVER 2,485 SQUARE
FEET OF LEASABLE RETAIL COMMERCIAL SPACE ON PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ELM AVENUE BETWEEN
ROOSEVELT STREET AND STATE STREET.
DEPARTMENTAL :
2. AB #71 - CONSTRUCTION OF ROOSEVELT STREET PARKING LOT. ~~
Chris Salomone gave the staff report as contained in the
Agenda Bill.
Housing and Redevelopment Commission accepted the
construction of the Roosevelt Street Parking Lot, Contract
No. U/M-11, as completed, and requested the City Clerk
be directed to have the Notice of Completion recorded and
to release the bonds 35 days after recordation.
ADJOURNMENT :
By proper motion, the Meeting of August 19, 1986, was
adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
