The Meeting was convened at 8:31 p.m.
The following Commissioners were present:
Commissioners Lewis, Mulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and
Larson.
Absent : None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 2, 1988, Lewis

Minutes of the Special Meeting held April 5, 1988, were
approved as presented.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
I. AB #97 - RP 87-8 - CALVERT.
Chris Salomone, Housing & Redevelopment Director, gave
the staff report as contained in the Agenda Bill, using
a wall chart showing an artist's drawing of the
building and a transparency showing the site.
Commissioner Lewis opened the public hearing at 8:38
p.m., and issued the invitation to speak. Since no one
wished to speak on this item, the public hearing was
closed.
Housing and Redevelopment Commission adopted the Lewis X

RESOLUTION NO. 103, APPROVING A MAJOR REDEVEOPMENT Mamaux X
PERMIT TO DEVELOP AN 1,800 SQUARE FOOT RETAIL USE WITH Larson X
ADDITIONAL 780 SQUARE FEET OF STORAGE ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2685 STATE STREET.
2. AB #98 - RP/CDP 88-1 VILLAGE FAIRE.
Chris Salomone gave the staff report as contained in
the Agenda Bill, stating this is the first Coastal
Permit the Commission has issued.
Commissioner Lewis opened the public hearing at
8:41 p.m., and issued the invitation to speak.
Harold Clarke, 824 Caminito Del Reposa, spoke in favor of the Village Faire project. He inquired about the
bus transfer and whether the new location had been
chosen. Ear. Clarke commented the "innovative" methods for parking in the Village area will have to be done
more often, and he felt all owners should take an
active part in getting space for the needed parking.
Chris Salomone stated four alternative sites are being
studied for the bus transfer, and the City has a year to choose what they want.

Housing Program Administrator, gave the staff report as
