HOUSING AUTHORITY

ROLL CALL: Chairman Packard called the meeting to order
at 8:30p.m. with all members present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of April
4, 1978 were approved as presented.
WRITTEN 5 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
(a) Security Deposit raise. The secretary explained that presently
the security deposit required for families is $75.00 and for
Seniors $40.00, she also explained that this amount does not
cover the cost incurred after the residents move-.
Motion made to increase the security deposit amount to $100.00
for family residents and $60.00 for senior residents.
(b) Extension of Lease 2625 Davis. Resolution No. 98.
A resolution authorizing an increase in rents and lease
extension for the single three bedroom dwelling located at
2502 Jefferson, the resolution was adopted as presented.
(c) Rental Increase 2502 Jefferson. Resolution No. 99.
A*resolution authorizing an increase in rents and lease
extension for the single three bedroom dwelling located at
2502 Jefferson was adopted as presented.
(d) San Diego City Housing Authority. Mrs. Villalobos
presented a background sheet to the Commissioners, explaining
the letter from the San Diego City Housing Authority requesting
permission to allow their "after-care" certificate holders to
seek housing in the Carlsbad area.
Motioi. /as iiiade to have secretary of the Carlsbad Housing
Authority write letter to San Diego City stating that the
Carlsbad Housing Authority, at this time, objects to the
participation of the San Diego City certificate holders in
this area.
PAYMENT OF BILLS:
Authorization was made for payment of bills of the Housing
Authority in the amount of $51,089.34.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50p.m. by proper motion.
