The meeting of the Carlsbad Library Commission was called to order
at 7:40 p.m. on December 12th, 1960, at the Children's Library.
All were present except Commissioner Straus*.
The Minutes were read and approved, and a letter from Los Gatos.was
also read to the Commission. Dr. Spivey presented a preliminary copy
of a letter to be sent by the Commission to the City Council, recom-
mending that a Board of Trustees be established in place of the present
Library Commission. A proposed Ordinance regarding this is to be pre-
sented to the Council at its meeting on December 20th, 1960.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
