LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
Mrs. Cole presented the Board with a form for approval titled "Citizen's
Request for Reconsideration of a Book". She said that there had been few
objections to books in the collection in the past, but that 1t was con-
sidered wise to have a standard form available on which a patron could
express disapproval. Such complaints could then be reviewed by the Board.
Current titles 1n demand, which possibly might not remain in the permanent
collection, are put on the rental shelf and, after a period of time, returned
to the publisher. Father Driver suggested a recording on one question.
The revised form will be presented in December.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Casler
