Meeting called to order by Chairman Sutton at 8t10 p. m, Present
and Stringer Absent , members Acuna and Barter. Also present , City
Attorney Slanith.
It waa move& by Col. Gronseth, seconde,d by YIr, Stringer, that the
minutea of tb meeting of February Wh not be read. All ayes, motion

tion to establish a trailer court on his property on State Street, md
for fraat yard variance on the atam property. It was moved by Mr.
Stringer, seconded by Mr. Bond, that a hearing be set on the application
on hmh 9th at 7rOO p. I. A11 ayes, motion CR~FIBCZ.
/ .t/It was moved by Pr , Bond, seconded by Mr. Stringer, to hear the
application of William R. Dimlinger, et al, on March 9th, and, at the
inittation of the Planning Comndssion, request far reclaesif~cat~on from
R-l to R-2, all of Blocks A, B and C of Alles Avooado Acres lying westep
ly of the freeway. All ayes, motion caprled.
It was moved by Mr. Stringer, seconded by Mre Band, that ths City
Attorney be instructed to prepare an ordinance runendlng Ordinance 9005,
lRherein it defines a street. Said definition ahall define a street as
a public thoroughfare which bris been mdicated an4 deeded to the public
use and accepted by the City of Carlabad, Fartbr, that the Plannlng
Commission recommends that the City Comet1 adopt %be new Ordinance 118
proposed. All ayea, motion oarrled.
It was moved m, Col. Smlth, seconded by Mr. Stringer, to set a
hearing on the application of Robert C), Cutler to reclassify Lots 3 and
4, Bloak 49, Carlsbad Townd te, from R-3 to C-1, end at the initiation
of tb Planning Commission, the rollowlag areas: Lots 29 to 32, inclusive,
in Bloek 38; Lots 17 to 20, iaclualvb, la Block 39; Lots 13 16, bo
clusive, in Block 48, and Uta 3 and 2, Block 49, all of Carlsbad Tom-
8 ite. All ayes, motion earnfed.
It was moved by Col. Oronseth, seconded I@. Stringer, that the
request of C. $. Fye, agent for Anthony Lo haeiros 9 for reduotion of
building site area from 6000 square feet to 5600 square feet on a

portion of Lot 202, Thm Landa, be granted 8s originally applied for
on January 16, 1953, provided applicant withdraws his applisation for
reclassification of this sa1118 area from R-2 to R-3, sal6 application
being dated February 11, 1953. All ayes, motion carried.
