The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. By Chairman Baumgartner,
Present besides the Chairman were Commissioners Jarvie, Swirsky, Yourell, Stringer and EngeLnann; City Engineer Kubota, Secretary Ewald an3 Flanning Consultant Gordon VJhitnall. Absent Commissioner

The Commirision asked that the Minutes of September .24. 1957 be
corrected tc show that on Page 2, under Section 5, that the duplication
of statemenf he deleted. Comm, Stringer requested that his statement
on Page 3 rc!garding the pl'eliminary survey on animal and fowl problems
be stricken from the record:.. Comm. Jarvie moved that the Minutes of Septerrber 24, 1957 be approved as corrected. Seconded by Comm.

HEARING - Precise PLan -.- Pi0 Pic0 Drive. Notice of hearing was read. A map of the Precise Plan was presented, which included all
of the property lying on ths East side of Pi0 Pic0 Drive from the North
line ob Chknquapin to the south property line of Elm Avenue,
MR. BOMDY, 1150 Pine Avenue, asked to see the precise plan. After
reviewing the map he statedSt it was his understanding that there would be no alley through his property. The City Engineer stated that if he wished his property to be rezoned R-3 along with the other proper- ties on Pi0 Pic0 Drive, that it would necessitate an alley in order to take care of tb.e extra traffic that is centemplated in the future as result of tbt; rezoning.
After considerable discussinn, Resolution No, 32 was presented to the

Mr. Whitnall stated that at such time as the City Council adopted this
Precise Plan and the change of zone in this area had been approved,

HEARING - Amendment to Ordinance No. 9060 - Model Homes. mcxfmas read, There were no oral or written prOkStS.
It was poinled out during the discussion that subdividers have found
it desirable to erect model homes in certain subdivisions where ex-
isting streets are involved, and that the matter had been taken UP
sometime ago with the planning consultant. The planning consultant had
submitted a proposed amendment to Ordinance No. 9060 for the
Commission's approval. Resolution No. 37 was presented to the
Commission which set forth the proposed amendment. Comm. Swirsky
moved tbat Resolution No. 37 be adopted, recommending to the City
Council the approval of the suggested amendment to Article 23 of
Ordinance NoQ 9060. Seconded by Comm. Stringer. All ayes, Comm, Fennel abscnt. Resolution No. 37 adopted.
KURNER - Request for Abatement. The Secretary informed the
zembers of the Commission that he bad received the opinion from the

MASTER FARK PLAN. Secretary Ewald reported on the meeting &at had be,sn held with the San Diego Gas & Electric Company,
officials of the City, members of the Planning Commission and the
Harbor Cornmission, and Mr- Patterson. Mr. Ewald stated that
he felt the representatives from the Gas and Electric Company were
satisfied that this plan of the harbor was merely a guide and that there
that the Gas & Electric did not seem to object to the harbor plan un-
