There was discussion on the Ecke property along the beach being leased to the City for public use, and discussion on the mean high tide line, private beaches and adequate policing along the beaches. It should state Buena Vista Lagoon and Batiquitos Lagoons be made recreational areas.
The Planning Director stated that he had checked with Frank DeVore of the San Diego Gas & Electric Co. regarding the power line ease- ments and there is an old dry arroya coming down from Calaveras Lake. The Planning Director stated it would be a terrific use for this area to have a park at Calaveras and have a green belt between both lagoons with hiking and riding paths there for green links and they could come down through the south side of Agua Hedionda Lagoon to the beach.
Commissioner Lamb stated that La Casta is keen to have riding and hiking paths to the ocean.
MRS. BETTY WOLLRICH from the Parks and Recreation Commission stated that Mr. Kelly has verbally agreed to give 140' access to LaYe Calaveras. He is amiable to give this for a park area as long as it does not interfere with any proposed subdivisions. She stated that Mr. Rombotis offered to lease some property for an amphi- theater to the City and she believed they could get a green belt to El Camino Real through the Eosp Grove. She stated that
