From: Arthur J. Serrin; Senior Commissioner
Subject: Resignation/Expiration of Term (Sept. 2003)
Gentlemen:
I am leaving the Senior Commission upon expiration of my term -
September 2003, after eight years of dedicated service to this great city.
I will now redirect my volunteer efforts through the County - Aging and
Independence Services (AIS) Commission.
Through the AIS I plan to continue my efforts to bring forward the
necessary development and availability of Senior owned affordable housing,
pursued unsuccessfully during my Carlsbad Senior Commission service.
Also, as discussed with the Senior Commission, I hope to provide liaison
to relevant AIS information and services that can be made available to our
Seniors and the Carlsbad Senior Center.
Best regards,
Arthup<J. Serrin
