Diamond has a vast background in food service. He worked with University of
California San Diego as a Senior Buyer in the Housing and Food Service department.
Swenck announced on Saturday, November 15, 2003 the Rotary Club will volunteer
their time to help Scott Bradstreet and some other city volunteers to plant trees, shrubs
and flowers at the Senior Center.
CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT VACATED PREMISES
Motion was made by Commissioner Savary and seconded by Commissioner Weber to
approve the square footage and drawing of the downstairs office space for the pending
expansion of the Center.
PATIO FURNITURE REPLACEMENT
Swenck gave Commissioners pictures of patio furniture that Park Planner, Scott
Bradstreet recommended. Commissioner Wood would like to research the patio
furniture and see if he might find something comparable. Swenck's concern is to make
sure the patio furniture is durable, attractive and last for many years.
