1. Approval of Minutes --

The minutes of the March 4, 1975 meeting were approved as sub-
mitted.
- 2. Red curb on State Street
The Commission recommended that an additional 20 feet of curb be painted red on the east side of State Street just south of Beech Avenue in order to improve the sight distance at the intersection.
-~ 3. Green curb markings in the downtown area
The Commission recommended that the Engineering staff and the
Pol ice Department survey all the green curb markings in the
downtown area to determine which markings should be retained,
and which ones are no longer necessary and should be deleted.
These findings would then be presented to the Commission at a
later meeting for its review.

After reviewing the traffic signal warrants for the above inter-
section, the Commission recommended that traffic signals be installed as a joint project with the County of San Diego, when
funds become available. The Commission feels that as development
occurs in this area and the need for the signal increases, the
priority for the construction of the signal will also increase.

-_I_ bad Boulevard and Washinqton Street
Due to the inclement weather, the field trip was cancelled. This
matter will be reviewed at the next Commission meeting.
