7. Review of traffic safety on Carlsbad Boulevard. The Commission recommended that all diagonal parking along the new State beach improvements be converted to parallel parking. The Commission also recommended that staff investigate the possibility of establishing a two way left turn lane on Carlsbad Boulevard between Pine and Tamarack Avenue to help reduce the number of rear-end accidents.
