Approval of Minutes The minutes of September 24, 1984 meeting were approved as
presented.
Cadencia Between Del Rey Avenue and La Costa Avenue - Request for stop signs, speed limit signs and children
~ ~~~ at play signs The Committee recommends having staff do a speed study on Cadencia at Del Rey Avenue, so the Police Department could enforce the speed limit with radar. The Committee recommends denial of additional stop signs and children
at play signs. The Committee also recommends installing a school bus stop ahead sign for the downhill traffic.
Staff will present the results of the speed study at the next meeting.
El Camino Real and Kelly Drive - Request for a signal
Because two warrants for the installation of a signal were
met, the Committee recommends installing the traffic signal.
Tamarack Between El Camino Real and Skyline - Request for a 35 MPH speed limit zone
The Committee recommends postinq this road 35 MPH and request the Police Department to enforce the speed limit.
Hosp Way near Forest View Lane - Request for an alternate
road configuration or an additional stop sign The Committee recommends denial of this request. The Committee recommends staff to install 2 W-5 (q) signs,
with advisory speed sign below the W-5, and to request the Police Department to enforce the 35 MPH speed limit.
