APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the September 23, 1985 meeting were approved as
presented.
3085 OCEAN STREET - PARKING PROBLEM
Until the parking study is completed, the committee recornends
taking no action at this time.
CARLSBAD BOULEVARD BETWEEN CANNON AND PINE - REQUEST FOR A STOP SIGN AT EACH PEDtST RIAN CROSSWAL K
Because warrants for a signal or a three-way stop are not met at
these locations, the committee recommends denying this request.
VALLEY BETWEEN CHESTNUT AND MAGNOLIA - REQUEST FOR CURB AND
GUTTER AND SIDEWALK FOR PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
The committee recornends installing "No Parking Any Time'' signs
on the west side of Valley Street in this area and installing
"Park Off Pavement" signs on the east side.
CARLSBAD BOULEVARD AND PINE - REQUEST FOR MORE TRAFFIC CONTROL
The committee recommends against installation of a traffic signal at this time, but will re-evaluate the need for stricter controls
for pedestrian safety as the area develops.

6. LA COSTA AREA - TRUCK ROUTES
The committee recommended posting truck route signs on all truck route streets, and that staff should review the truck routes.
The committee felt that for the Rancho Santa Fe Road closure trucks should be prohibited on Levante Street.
