TRAFFIC SAFETY COORDINATING COMMITTEE
MONDAY, JUNE 23, 1986
COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM AT 3:05 P.M.

1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Jerry Long, Jim Thompson, Roger Greer
The minutes of the May 27, 1986 meeting were approved
as presented.
2. CADENCIA STREET - REQUEST FOR SPEED LIMIT POSTING
Recommend to Traffic Safety Commission that the request
for speed limit posting on Cadencia be denied.
POSTING
Recommend to Traffic Safety Commission that the request for a cross-walk and posted speed limit be denied.
STOP LIGHT
Recommend to Traffic Safety Commission that the request for pedestrian activated stop light be denied.

Recommend to Traffic Safety Commission that the request
for a posted speed limit be denied.
INTERSECTION OF SNAPDRAGON DRIVE & ALYSSUM ROAD - REQUEST mm _I_
Recommend to Traffic Safety Commission that the request for a stop sign be denied.
ITEMS FROM THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER
Bob Johnson brought to the attention of the Committee the
request to stripe an 8' parking lane on Alicante/El Fuerte Road. The Committee agreed with staff to not stripe this
additional lane.

Bob Johnson brought to the attention of the Committee that all future Committee Meetings, after July 21, 1986, will
be at the new Engineering Building on Las Palmas.
Meeting adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
