Meeting was called to order at 8:37 a.m.
ADDrOVal of Minutes.
The minutes of the Friday, January 22, 1988 Traffic Safety Coordinating Committee were approved as presented.
Oral Communications.
There was no audience in attendance to comment on this item.
La Costa Avenue - Reouest for two-wav left turn lane easterlv of El Camino
Mike Shirey gave a slide show presentation of the existing striping configu- ration on La Costa Avenue east of El Camino Real. Mike pointed out various conflicting points associated with this striping configuration.
After discussion a motion was moved, seconded, and passed unanimously to recommend to the Traffic Safety Commission that a two-way left turn lane striping configuration, with removal of parking, be implemented on La Costa
Avenue east of El Camino Real to Calle Madero.
Marjorie Lane - Request to establish a No Parkinq Zone.
This item went before the Traffic Safety Commission in June 1987. meeting a 2 hour parking zone was established.
Bob Johnson gave the staff report as contained in the packet.
After discussion a motion was moved, seconded, and passed unanimously to recommend to the Traffic Safety Commission that a 24 hour No Parking zone be established.
