BUILDING AND LIFE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS After reviewing set II there are a couple of clarifications needed that we did not see at the set I review. Please address the following: Th exit access travel distance table on Sheet A5 has circled E and B. Is E a proposed use in the space being altered? Please change the direction of door swing for the main exit #1 and #3 doors. These two door serve the entire occupant load which exceeds 50. CBC 1010.1.2.1. Please provide a pivoted or side hinged swinging type door at conference room 123. The occupant load of conference room 123 when combined with conference room 121 exceeds 10. Provide a note on the plans stating: "Penetrations of fire-resistive walls, floor-- ceilings and roof-ceilings shall be protected as required in IBC Section 714." This note is specific to the new walls being constructed at stair #2. Please describe how the stairwell rating will be maintained. Provide structural details and dimensions for glass wall system and glass sliding doors. Details shall include diagonal bracing above the ceiling assembly. Provide door hardware specification. Note: Large glazing panels must be supported and gasketed so that the panel, when deflected, will not dislodge. Engineering is required if this system is not an engineered manufactured system.
