Remedial grading for the building pad included over-excavation of the existing soils on-site to an approximate depth of two feet below bottom of proposed footing depths, with a minimum of four feet below finish pad grade. The exposed excavation bottom was then scarified, moisture conditioned to at least three percent above optimum moisture content, and compacted to at least 90 percent relative compaction. The excavated soils were then moisture conditioned to at least three percent above optimum moisture content and compacted to at least 90 percent relative compaction. Grading activities occurred between November 5 and 19, 2015. Based on our observations and the results of our tests the building pad construction complies with the project approved documents.
