Re:
Framing plan 3 calls for continuous double 2x6 top plates for shear wall type 1 1 between master bedroom
sitting and bedroom 2. Apply 5’-0” long CS16 straps at each side of top plate cut and nail every other strap
holes with 1 Od x 1 - 1 !2” nails (minimum of 16 nails at each side of top plate cut). No strap is required for
bottom plate. Edge nail plywood shear at bottom plate.
