From the very start ofthis project we have demonstrated to the planning division that as you had planned initially to place a second story dwelling in your lot # 13, after discussing this issue you then decided to place the second story dwelling on your lot #11, which is absolutely absurd. Why do you persist in placing a second story dwelling ( your lot # 11) directly behind our home ( Camino Hills LOT 002 ) when these adjoining properties to this TABATA development are as you well know the lowest placed grading adjoining the placement of your new homes. We ask you to reconsider this placement of a two story dwelling, and to construct within your 26 home development where the impact will not be that devastating for the existing home owners surrounding your project. I have gone personally to argue for this to your City office, at times you agreed that it would not be prudent to construct a two story house in the low end ofthe adjoining neighborhood, so much so that you stated you would reconsider. However with this notice you continue to overlook the serious impact this action on your part will have on our present home. My lot is No. 4 as shown on the attached Map outlining the placement of the 26 homes to be built. 2) Several months ago, a team of engineers, representing the developer, met with the Camino Hills residents to present the developer's plans and to address our many concerns. Our primary concern was the height of the homes bordering our property lines. I personally spoke to one of the engineers about this concern because my property is lower than the others above me (i.e.. Lots Nos. 5 thru 19). Understanding my concern, he assured me, by showing me their blueprints, that the roof line of the proposed single story home No. 9 (See Map) would be 10ft. below my home. My concerns were put rest with this news! I also believed the representative when they assured us that they wanted the new development to have the least amount of impact on our neighborhood. Was I wrong to put my faith in their declared statements? 3) You can imagine my distress upon receiving your notice, dated June 12*, informing me that now a two-stor/ home would be built below me. This means that the upper story walls (and maybe windows) will be facing my living room, kitchen and family room windows! 4) What I don't understand is why the developer intends to put any 2-story homes on the four lowest lots (Nos. 1 - 4) of Browning Rd and Bryant Dr. The homes on Lots Nos. 6 thru 19 are on much high levels. Why not have more 2-story homes in the middle of the complex ... such as homes Nos. 15 and 20, or even No. 1, rather than the proposed 2-story homes Nos. 9 and 11?
